Hi Sharon, I found this weeks topic really interesting! Do companies still use personality tests when hiring people?
Also I think that overall people work better in a group but at the same time it depends on who is in the group. If its people you like then its much easier.
Thats a very interesting question! Yes lots of companies do use it as part of job applications. Lots of companies also uses group interviews as well. Lots of the variants of this study look at how the people in the group effect conformity.
Ohh thats interesting! Yes all the videos this week were fascinating! Its weird to think how different people react in different ways to conformity! Would school be a type of conformity because we all have to wear uniforms?
I could be looked at in that way but also uniform create a group identity. It would help members of the school to recognise with one another. The same as with sports teams.
Oh yes, that’s very true actually! I didn’t think of applying it to sports!
