25th April Feedback Click on this heading to leave a comment: Cork Adventures in Chemistry

Hi all, Hope you are all doing well. Welcome back to our second online session. As requested all the slides for the previous weeks have been put up on the blog. I’ve tried to edit them with more explanations and included links to videos watched on the day but if you have any questions at all, don’t hesitate to ask. (Remember there is no such thing as a silly question!).

Please try out this quiz if you haven’t already to test yourself and let me know how you did or if anything confused you at all. https://forms.gle/yt3cZ3jraQqmQFW8A.

I would love to make another quiz here with your help (to test the other scientists online today) so if you have any questions you’d like to be featured comment them below. And others can answer by replying.

I’m planning to display all the projects done on this blog (with your permission of course) to celebrate the hard work you’ve put in . If you have not already, please email it on to me before the 30th April, any format is welcomed.

Thanks and looking forward to hearing from you!

  1. Finally, to get the quiz rolling a question for you scientists!
Name some differences between DNA and RNA?- multiple answers are welcomed
    🙂

    1. I’ve received 1 project on calcium so far and a potential Magnesium one coming soon. But other than that no indication as of yet but I’m sure they are working hard offline.

  2. Another question is case people are online at a later time.
Define an acid? Reply with some examples too!

  3. Hi all, I will be signing off now but will be available through email at
abiabimbola.oyeyemi1.staff@ctyi.org until the 30 April, and will be uploading projects after I receive a few more.
It has been a pleasure being your instructor for Adventures in Chemistry, you were a great group to teach, so thank you. I hoped you’ve learned a lot and hope you keep up exploring the adventures of Chemistry. Keep safe.
    Best Regards,
    Abi
